WWE announces that Ricochet is out for ‘an undisclosed amount of time’

Days after a report that Ricochet had informed WWE he’d be leaving the company when his contract expires this summer, the June 10 Raw saw Bron Breakker decimate the former Intercontinental and United States champion backstage.

The last time we saw Ricochet on the show, he was being loaded into an ambulance, accompanied by his clearly distraught fiancee — ring announcer Samantha Irvin.

We heard that was the final appearance of Ricochet’s WWE tenure. And it’s possible this update from the company confirms just that… or it could mean they have something else planned for him:

BREAKING: After suffering a brutal attack at the hands of @bronbreakkerwwe this past Monday on #WWERaw, @KingRicochet will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time with upper body injuries.

Speculation is already running wild about where Ricochet will land next. Signs point to AEW, but so far that company’s owner Tony Khan isn’t willing to talk about Will Ospreay’s old rival.
