Women’s Basketball Adds Jovana Nikolic to 2024-25 Roster – Xavier University Athletics
CINCINNATI – Xavier head women’s basketball coach Billi Chambers announced the addition of Jovana Nikolic to the 2024-25 roster on Tuesday.
“We are thrilled about the addition of Jovana to our program,” said Chambers. “She provides us depth in multiple areas – from size to physicality, from outside shooting to pure competitiveness. She is a coach’s kid so she communicates in a way that bridges the space between players and coaches. Her maturity and confidence will help us continue to create the strong culture that will lead to success.”
Nikolic averaged 14.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game last season with ZKK Vizura. The 6-foot-2 forward also played with ZKK Korac Akademija, averaging 17 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
The Belgrade, Serbia, native led ZKK Korac Akademija to an 18-0 record and division championship in the Cadet League Third Division in 2022-23. She helped the team get promoted to the Second Division in 2023-24.
Nikolic was also a member of the Serbian U18 National Team.
