Less than a week after announcing the arrest of Montreal billionaire Robert Miller on 21 sex exploitation charges, Montreal police on Tuesday announced they had arrested a 67-year-old woman they described as a member of Miller’s “entourage.”
Teresita Fuentes, a Westmount resident who lives at the same address as Miller, was arrested in Montreal on Tuesday and faces one count of pimping. The charge was filed in connection with the 10 alleged victims who are part of charges filed last week against Miller, the founder of Future Electronics.

The sole count listed on the warrant alleges that Fuentes “did procure (a person) to offer or provide for the purpose of facilitating an offence (under a section of the Criminal Code that covers pimping), recruit, hold, conceal or harbour a person who offers or provides/exercises control, direction or influence over the movements of a person who offers or provides sexual services for consideration.”
Fuentes is alleged to have done this between Jan. 1, 2015 and Jan. 28, 2018. The time frame corresponds with one of two warrants issued against Miller last week. Miller faces three charges in the warrant, including one that alleges he sexually assaulted a person and another charge similar to the one Fuentes faces. That crime is alleged to have taken place between Jan. 1, 2015 and Nov. 29, 2016. The victim is referred to by the same initials in both warrants.
In a statement issued Tuesday, police said Fuentes was released after signing a promise to appear in court July 3.
According to land registry records, the address in Westmount listed as being both Fuentes and Miller’s home is owned by Miller.

The documentary aired by Rdio-Canada’s Enquête that launched the Montreal police investigation into Miller mentions the same address as one where he is alleged to have met with young women, sometimes under the age of 18, after he stopped using hotels.
Documents filed in a class action lawsuit brought against Miller, by women who claim he paid to have sex with them when they were minors, state that the property was purchased in 2004 by an executive vice-president at Future Electronics. The following year, the vice-president sold the property to a numbered company. From 2008 to 2021, the numbered company’s address was listed as Future Electronics’s headquarters in Pointe-Claire.
Police repeated their call for anyone who believes they were a victim of sexual exploitation in this case or who has information that could further the investigation to call them at 514-280-8522, or contact their local police or Info-Crime Montreal at 514-393-1133.
