Wolf Pack football transfer arrested on 4 felony drug charges
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Sparks Police Department arrested a Wolf Pack football transfer Thursday on four felony drug charges.
Davis Mallinger, 22, was booked on two drug possession counts and two counts of possession with intent to sell.
Mallinger was booked into jail at 3:48 p.m. on Thursday. Mallinger was no longer in custody late Friday afternoon.
The transfer from West Virginia was supposed to play defense back for the Wolf Pack this season.
The sports department issued a statement saying it was aware of the arrest, it was working to gather more information and that Mallinger is suspended indefinitely.
