With Apple Intelligence and Privacy Cloud Compute, Apple Elevates AI Privacy

00:08 — Apple announced its AI Initiative and Privacy Cloud Compute (PCC) effort last month. It’ll be rolling out Apple Intelligence, which intends to bring AI capabilities to iPhones, iPads, and MacOS. This is going to occur through a partnership it announced with OpenAI, enabled by ChatGPT.

It also stressed that it’ll be using things like end-to-end encryption and processing data ephemerally to address privacy invasions and access to personal data.
