Will Bayern Munich now finish pursuit of Xavi Simons?
Now that Bayern Munich — allegedly — has Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise in its crosshairs, the first step in an attacking refresh seems to be complete (barring any last minute changes).
According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is now making its push to ink Xavi Simons from Paris Saint-Germain:
Exclusive | There are concrete negotiations: FC Bayern are pushing to sign #Xavi now!
… the 21 y/o is the desired target for the offense. Max Eberl wants him!
▫️Concrete talks about a loan with an obligation to buy of more than €60-70m
▫️ Bayern are optimistic about being able to finalize the deal. But Leipzig still have hopes as well!
But it is a very complicated arrangement: PSG, PSV, RB and Bayern, all involved.

The acquisition of Olise seems like it could make things complicated as it pertains to Simons, but Bayern Munich might be eying up quite the double.
