This weekend Las Vegas will play host to two of boxing’s best, as Gervonta “Tank” Davis and David Benavidez are featured on a loaded PBC fight card.
The World Boxing Association (WBA) Lightweight title is on the line tonight in Las Vegas. Undefeated champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (29-0-0, 27 KOs) will face off against undefeated challenger Frank “The Ghost” Martin (18-0-0, 12 KOs) in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Davis last entered the ring in April 2023 and earned a knockout win over Ryan Garcia. Since his debut in 2013, he’s become one of the top lightweight boxers in the world. He’s earned world titles at the super feather, light, and super light levels.

Martin turned pro more recently than Davis with his first bout in 2017. He’s a rising fighter and won his last bout against Artem Haurtyunyan last July.
Wednesday’s press conference got chippy as Davis and Martin exchanged words after posing for photos.

There are three bouts on the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET following nine prelim bouts starting at 5:30 p.m. ET. DAZN, which is carrying the fight, estimates main event ring walks at approximately 11 p.m. ET but notes that it could change depending on the undercard fights.
