What position should Netflix feature in their next football reality series?

With the release of Netflix’s much-awaited reality series, “Receivers,” currently the talk of the football world, it got me wishing: I really hope Netflix continues to produce this series.

This part of the offseason typically feels extra brutal, so hats off to them for giving us something to chew on before training camp later in July. Season one received mostly positive reviews and this year’s season might be even better—so why not keep this train rolling?

That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:

What position should Netflix feature in their next football reality series?

My Answer: If you are familiar with my take on football, then you probably know where this is going. That’s right, you know I am picking offensive linemen. For the sake of the discussion, I am going to specifically pick offensive tackles.

Choosing to focus season three of the series on people who don’t touch the ball might not sound like the smartest decision on paper, but hear me out. This would be a great chance for a lot of fans out there to learn more about one of the game’s most vital positions.

And if we are following the same formula as the previous years, I think I have a solid group picked out. I’ll go with Trent Williams from the San Francisco 49ers, Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles, Tristan Wirfs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and of course we can’t leave out the best tackle in football—Detroit Lions’ right tackle Penei Sewell.

You’d get a nice mix of veterans and youth with several future Hall-of-Famers sprinkled in the mix.

How about you? Which position group would you choose to be in a hypothetical season three? Let us know by leaving a comment with your answer at the bottom of the page.
