WestJet is no longer going to offer year-round direct flights to Toronto Pearson from St. John’s International effective October 28.
The airline says it’s suspending the route as part of a transition into a winter schedule.
In a statement to VOCM News, the company said it’s offered refunds or alternative flight options to passengers who had already booked a flight during that time period.
WestJet says it will continue to evaluate all potential opportunities to expand air access in Newfoundland and Labrador.
