Wednesday works: 10 graded-stakes winners are on the tab

Wednesday’s work tab for graded-stakes winners included two who were victorious in their most recent starts.

Didia, winner of the Grade 1 New York on June 7 at Saratoga, breezed four furlongs in 49.8 seconds at Keeneland, 16th fastest of 26 works at the distance.

Master Piece, who scored in the Fort Marcy (G2) at Aqueduct on May 4, breezed four furlongs in 50.4 seconds at Belmont Park, 43rd fastest of 49 at the distance.

The two were among 10 graded-stakes winners with published works Wednesday. Another four worked on Tuesday, listed below.

Daddysruby (Frac Daddy), a Grade 1 winner (2023 La Brea), worked five furlongs in 1:01.0 at San Luis Rey on Wednesday morning. It was the third fastest of nine works at the distance. Her previous work was six days ago going four furlongs at San Luis Rey. In her last start she placed second in the Matron going six furlongs on the main track at Oaklawn on March 30 for trainer Peter Miller.

This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she won the New York (G1) going 1 3/16 miles on the turf at Saratoga on June 7 for trainer Ignacio Correas.

Master Piece (Mastercraftsman), a three-time Grade 2 winner (2024 Fort Marcy, 2023 Red Smith, 2022 Eddie Read), worked four furlongs in 50.4 seconds at Belmont Park on Wednesday morning.
