Warriors reporter Kerith Burke named lead USA Olympic basketball sideline reporter

Longtime Warriors sideline reporter Kerith Burke is headed to France this summer to serve as the lead courtside reporter for the American women’s and men’s national basketball teams for the first week of the games. This will be her third Olympic run, following her coverage of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Burke will be joined in Paris and on NBC’s Olympic coverage by Zora Stephenson, LaChina Robinson, Noah Eagle, Bob Fitzgerald, and Dwyane Wade. Reporting on the Warriors for NBC Sports Bay Area since 2017, Burke has reported on some of the most iconic events in Warriors history — and NBA history, at that. At this year’s Olympics, she will be teaming up with longtime colleagues Steph Curry and Steve Kerr once again, as Curry has made his third Olympic roster, and Kerr is a first-time head coach for the USA Olympic Men’s Basketball team. In addition, she might get to scout some players for the Golden State Valkyries during her coverage of the USA Olympic Women’s Basketball Team, as the Valkyries are set to enter the WNBA in the 2025 season.

Really, there’s no one better for this job. Burke knows basketball — especially Golden State basketball — in and out, and we’re all looking forward to see what she’ll bring to NBC’s Olympic coverage this summer.
