A man was arrested by the RNC after forcing his way into a home in the centre city area of St. John’s by using his shoulder to force open a door.
Officers contacted the homeowner, who was away at the time, and got permission to go inside as they were told that nobody should have been in the house at that time—close to 2:00 this morning.
Police found a 44-year-old man hiding under a bed, but when they contacted the homeowner again, they were told that it weas okay for him to be there.
That’s not where the story ends though. The man had warrants out for his arrest for breaching probation and release orders. He was taken to the lockup.
