Want to do some shopping? Here are the 4 newest stores at The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass

The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass, 1155 Buck Creek Road, Simpsonville, has added three new stores and one new restaurant to its plethora of businesses.

Between 2023 and 2024, The Outlet has added Lacoste, Palmetto Moon, and Keen Footwear to its shopping options and a Roman’s Asian Kitchen to its dining options. The shopping center, which opened in July 2014, now has 89 shops and restaurants.

“Shopping centers thrive on the principles of supply and demand. At the Outlets, we excel in staying at the forefront of fashion trends and curating memorable shopping experiences,” Brandi Taylor, marketing director for the Outlet Shoppes, told the Courier Journal. “By welcoming renowned brands like Lacoste, Palmetto Moon, Keen, and Roman’s, we proudly uphold our legacy of offering premium merchandise at unbeatable prices.”

Here’s what to know about the new businesses:

Located between Fossil and Johnston and Murphy; store size: 3,017 square feet

Lacoste is a clothing retailer providing attire, footwear, eyewear, leather goods, perfume, watches, and accessories according to a press release from The Outlets. Lacoste opened in August 2023.

Located between Old Navy and Uniform Destination on the west side of the shopping center; store size: 5,500 square feet.

Palmetto Moon is a “Southern lifestyle retailer” that sells lifestyle brands and items. It has a variety of departments including women’s, men’s, and children’s fashion, home and gift, footwear, drinkware, coolers, and collegiate products.

The brands the store sells include YETI, Local Boy Outfitters, Stanley and local brands including Eat Your Bourbon and University of Kentucky collegiate gear, the Courier Journal previously reported.

Palmetto Moon opened on March 8.

Located between Journeys Outlet and Oshkosh B’Gosh; store size: 2,283 square feet

KEEN specializes in consciously created footwear for both adults and children. The location at The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass is the first KEEN in the United States.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to providing exceptional products and experiences for our customers,” Debbie Griesinger, general manager of the Outlet, said in a news release.

KEEN opened on May 25.

Located near the Vans Outlet; store size: 2,920 square feet

Roman’s Asian Kitchen serves multicultural dishes from across Asia, including pad thai, pho and sashimi. The restaurant is owned by Enrique Roman, founder of the El Nopal restaurant chain.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, Taylor previously told the Courier Journal. She described Roman’s Asian Kitchen as “affordable fine dining” and meals range between $10 to $20 per person.

Roman’s opened in the spring of 2024.
