An Air Canada flight had an emergency landing at Pearson Airport in Mississauga Monday night.
The flight, AC42, destined for New Delhi, India, left Pearson on time, shortly before 8 p.m. but turned back to the airport a short time later, according to FlightAware, a flight tracking data website.
The flight landed back at Pearson about two hours later at 9:42 p.m.
Reports indicate the aircraft, a Boeing 777, suffered an engine issue, dumped fuel and declared an emergency.
A video shows the plane landing safely at the airport and emergency vehicles meeting the aircraft on the tarmac.
Air Canada did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the issue.
There were no reports of injury in the incident.
