Many unique items can be found at the Historic O’Keefe Ranch yard sale today and Sunday.
“Dive into a treasure trove of barn finds, milk buckets, butter churns and more, all while enjoying the rustic charm of our historic ranch,” said a post on the ranch’s website.
“This isn’t just any yard sale — it’s a fundraiser to support the preservation and operations of O’Keefe Ranch. Every purchase helps keep our heritage alive for generations to come.”
“O’Keefe is the jewel of the Okanagan, and ground zero of our regional history, and we need to do everything possible to save it,” said Scott Anderson, former Vernon city councillor and city liaison to the board at O’Keefe, who was asked to join the O’Keefe board of directors last year.
Many of the items on sale were donated by clients of Anderson’s business, Dump Runz.
“I told you we would recycle everything we could, and your trash is being turned into cash for a good cause,” Anderson said on a Facebook post.
The yard sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the ranch on Highway 97, 10 minutes from Vernon.
