Vehicle crashes into utility pole in Dartmouth


Halifax Regional Police say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Dartmouth on Saturday.

Police say at 9:10 a.m. they received a report of a vehicle struck a utility pole in the 300 block of Portland Street Dartmouth, knocking the power out in the area.

No one was injured, however police say electrical lines are down blocking the roads.

Traffic Blocked: All traffic is blocking on Portland Street between Rodney Road and Old Ferry Road. Officers say traffic will remain closed for an extended period.
