UW-Whitewater’s Lindow and Lee Earn CSC Academic All-America® Women’s Tennis Accolades

–University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s MacKenzie Lindow and Cassie Lee have been named to the 2023-24 NCAA Division III Academic All-America® Women’s Tennis Third Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Lindow achieved a 4.00 grade point average in both her undergraduate and graduate classes in special education. At this year’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship, she won the No. 6 singles title and placed third at No. 3 doubles. Lindow helped UW-Whitewater claim the WIAC championship the last five years and secured a spot on the conference’s All-Sportsmanship Team in 2020-21.
Lee owns a 3.89 grade point average in human performance. She won WIAC titles at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles this season. At the 2022 conference championship, Lee posted first-place finishes at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles. She participated in this year’s NCAA Division III Singles Tournament and has been a member of three consecutive WIAC championship teams.
The duo becomes the sixth and seventh individuals in program history to secure Academic All-America® recognition from the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
To be eligible for the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, must be in the lineup for 70 percent of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores, and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
