UPDATE: Tornado watches/warnings ended

​Tornado watches and warnings for Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Southern Bruce County, Bruce Peninsula – Sauble Beach – Tobermory and Owen Sound ended at about 10:50 Saturday night.

A marine tornado warning for the Upper Great Lakes-Southern Lake Huron issued at 6:30 p.m. also ended at around the same time.

Environment Canada was tracking thunderstorms from Michigan capable of producing tornadoes. 

The national weather agency was also advising of additional hazards including torrential downpours and localized strong wind gusts.

Some areas including Bruce Peninsula – Sauble Beach – Tobermory​, Owen Sound – Blue Mountains – Northern Grey County, were also under rainfall warnings advising of up to 60 millimetres of rain Saturday night into Sunday.

Environment Canada said heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads and localized flooding in low-lying areas was also possible.
