Meantime, Ridge Meadows RCMP were also investigating a fatal single vehicle crash Wednesday night in Pitt Meadows.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers were called out to a motorcycle collision on Golden Ears Way near Lougheed Highway.

RCMP say a 70-year-old man from Langley died in the crash. Investigators believe he may have lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the median.

Golden Ears Way was shut down in both directions for several hours after the collision.
