Two popular retailers joining Costco at Crossroads West shopping center in Riverbank

Two sister chains are taking residence in Riverbank’s Crossroads West shopping center.

HomeGoods and TJ Maxx both signed leases Wednesday, Riverbank City Council member Luis Uribe said.

Browman Development Company’s director of development, William Bettencourt, could not confirm any other tenants that will join the shopping center at Oakdale and Claribel Roads.

“We are working some other larger retailers — besides Costco — for Crossroads West but have not finalized deals with any of them yet,” he said.

HomeGoods stores have both a stand-alone and a superstore format, according to the TJX Companies website. The superstore format couples HomeGoods with a TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

Though the HomeGoods and the TJ Maxx stores in Crossroads West will be next door to each other, as is typically the case with the superstore format, it is unknown whether the two will be a superstore or stand alone.
