Tuesday works: 5 graded-stakes winners are on the tab

Two graded-stakes winners who haven’t raced since last year were on the work tab Tuesday for trainer Gary Contessa.

Nutella Fella and Becky’s Joker both worked six furlongs in 1:14.6 at Saratoga.

Nutella Fella won a maiden special weight in his July debut at Delaware Park and then scored in the Grade 1 Hopeful. Becky’s Joker won of the Schuylerville (G3) in her debut and then was seventh in the Adirondack on Aug. 6.

Neither has raced since. Nutella Fella returned to the tab in late April, and Becky’s Joker has been training since late March.
