Daily horse racing tips

  • BEVERLEY
    2.17: Oasis Sunrise 10/3 (1pt)
    3.47: Dain Ma Nut In 15/8 (1pt)
  • NEWBURY
    5.30: Flaming Stone 7/4 (1pt)

Oasis Sunrise

This filly gets 4lb to the current favourite Mystical Elegance, who is drifting in the odds with Tower Of Africa shortening slightly.

She also gets 2lb from the second favourite who was impressive on debut earlier this month behind Kiss Me My Love.

That winner featured at Royal Ascot but stepped down to 5f and placed far behind, whereas this is a step up to 71/2f.

Kiss Me My Love has got some great form over 5f behind Larchill Lass for instance, but it’s difficult to see how that form line translates to close to a mile for Tower Of Africa.

Oasis Sunrise was impressive stepping up from 6f to 7f last time out and also has the better value at 10/3.

She also finished nicely enough ahead of Dukes Of Haather which suggests she’s well-weighted to strike here given that horse has been close to subsequent group and listed runners.

Dain Ma Nut In

Should be a close contest this for the fifth race of the card at Beverley over 1m for this Class 5 maiden stakes.

Dain Ma Nut In looks to be the best bet of the main three contenders as he was close up to odds-on favourite National Interest at Musselburgh last time out, which was won by First Alliance who has form lines with top-rated milers like Kalpana and Inisherin.

The odds-on favourite Drink Dry seems to have been tipped mostly but has failed to deliver on five occasions but has been getting better and better.

But his form doesn’t stand out where there could be potential for him to be well-weighted for instance and won’t warrant backing at such a price.

Flaming Stone

Shaped well enough at Newmarket when fourth to Mountain Breeze last month, who went to the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and placed fourth himself.

This filly should be well-suited to the step up in trip and has the benefit of experience to her main market rivals Flight and We Sea You.

She cost 425,000 guineas when bought as a yearling by Juddmonte and trains at Andrew Balding’s yard, which means the in-form Oisin Murphy is on board for the first time and at 7/4 looks an easy punt.

We Sea You is the horse that’s attracting a lot of market attention though and there’s clearly some hope for the Sea The Stars filly.

But she could be one for next time out as debutants are always risky.
