Tuesday afternoon stabbing on Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon

An early afternoon stabbing Tuesday on Broadway Avenue is still under investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service.

According to an SPS news release, officers responded to the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue for reports of an injured person at around 1:10 p.m. Prior to arriving at the scene, more information was provided that a man had been stabbed and the suspect fled the scene. Officers located the victim suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing before having the male victim transported to hospital by paramedics with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
