This article enlists the top 10 highest paying jobs in Ontario that are currently in-demand based on the number of job openings as per the latest data reported by Statistics Canada.

We published our article 2 days ago on 20 occupations in Canada with the highest job vacancies and our readers liked that data to be best reflective of high-demand jobs in Canada.

Such data helps professionals as well as students determine or switch their career path based on the demand for that particular occupation.

Since Canada is vast and demand varies from coast-to-coast, we are publishing this article today, refining the data further to enlist the highest paying occupations in Ontario.

Ontario had a total of 229,155 vacant jobs in the first quarter of 2024, as compared to the national total of 648,600.

This represents a 30% decline in job vacancies on an annual basis when compared to the first quarter of 2023, as compared to the decline of about 22% for overall Canada.
