Tom Brady‘s used Tampa Bay Buccaneers pants from his final NFL appearance have been sold at auction for a whopping $89,000 but failed to match the same record price of his jersey from the same.
According to Grey Flannel Auctions, the dark grey pants went to the high bidder as the minimum price they could go at was $10k.
The size 34 slacks are from Brady’s final game of his Hall of Fame career, when the Bucs’ lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card game on January 16, 2023.
The piece of sports memorabilia includes Brady’s handwritten note inside the pants’ waistband, which reads ‘1-16-23 vs. Cowboys,’ and the quarterback’s No. 12 tag.
It remains unclear who the lucky winner is, but the highest offer went at $89,100, which is a lot less than what Brady’s last Tampa Bay jersey was auctioned at last year – a record $1.4million.

The red shirt was auctioned off at a special Sotheby’s event during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix for $1,391,000, setting a new record for the most expensive jersey ever sold.
The listing notes that the trousers were authenticated by The MeiGray Group, the same company that confirmed Brady’s jersey was authentic, too.
Brady, who’s set to start his career in the booth with Fox in the fall, spent more than two decades in the NFL before having to adjust to retirement.
‘I just want to pull my hair out and go ”what the f*** is going on’!” he said on an episode of his ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast last year, when asked about the New England Patriots.
‘I have zero impact on any games. I didn’t have that perspective even when I was playing,’ he added.
‘This is a totally new life I’m living right now too…32 years of playing and now I’m on the outside looking in.’
