Timothee Chalamet’s ‘diva’ antics surface during Bob Dylan biopic filming

Timothee Chalamet faces backlash over weird behavior during Bob Dylan production.

Timothee Chalamet has emerged as a significant figure in Hollywood, embodying emotional depth on screen and displaying a blend of goofiness, occasional shyness, and infectious enthusiasm off screen.

During the September 2022 Venice Film Festival at Sala Casino, a large crowd eagerly awaited him, with fans screaming his name after waiting for hours in the hot sun.

Reflecting on his appeal, one admirer expressed admiration for having a “genuinely nice” Gen-Z star to look up to.

Chalamet, hailed as Hollywood’s sensitive new star, faces allegations of diva behavior from insiders on the set of his upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, ‘A Complete Unknown.’

Crewmembers who worked closely with him during filming in Hoboken, New Jersey, described a reportedly ‘toxic’ atmosphere with accusations of cruelty and unprofessional conduct.

According to sources speaking to DailyMail.com, he was said to be hyper-paranoid, imposing strict rules such as prohibiting crew from making eye contact or introducing themselves.

In one incident, he allegedly berated a production assistant for accidentally including him in a photo during the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The assistant was reportedly forced to delete all photos from her phone under supervision.

Shortly thereafter, the chocolate boy purportedly insisted on a ban on cell phone use near him, prompting anxiety among crew members concerned about job security.

Security personnel were allegedly instructed to enforce this rule rigorously, even when phone usage was essential for work purposes.

Additionally, Chalamet reportedly disliked crew members observing rehearsals and had a strong aversion to stand-in actors who assisted with lighting adjustments before his scenes.
