Tiffany Stratton: Jade Cargill Instagram Post Was An ‘Honest Mistake’
Tiffany Stratton says her post about Jade Cargill was an honest mistake.
In May, Tiffany Stratton sparked some controversy by reposting a clip in which she hit Jade Cargill during a match. The video included a close-up of Bianca Belair looking shocked. Alongside the clip, Stratton posted crying-while-laughing emojis. The original poster of the video added audio of someone saying, “Black bitch”, as well as a slapping sound.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez at the media event ahead of WWE Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton was asked about the Instagram post.
“It was an honest mistake,” Tiffany Stratton said. “I didn’t hear the audio, and I had it up for maybe 20 seconds, and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake.”
The video can be seen here:
Stratton will compete in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money in the Bank on July 6.
