Thurles school come out on top at Rockwell All-County football tournament

Congratulations to our under 14 Gaelic Football team on their superb win in last week’s Rockwell All-County tournament.

We played our initial group games against Presentation School Ballingarry, Clonmel CTI, Scoil Ruáin Killenaule and St Joseph’s Borrisoleigh.

Our group standings (three wins and one draw) subsequently qualified us for a final against Clonmel CTI that went right down to the wire, where we luckily won by a brilliantly taken Callum Fennessy goal that was fisted into the net from a long range speculative shot.
