Third annual James Conner football camp set for this Saturday

For the third straight summer, NFL standout and McDowell graduate James Conner will be back in the Erie area to hold a youth football camp.

Campers interested can make their way to McDowell’s Gus Anderson Field in Millcreek on Saturday, June 22nd with two sessions available.

The camp is free to attend with spots almost filled up.

Campers grades 3-8 will go through a morning session from 9-11 a.m. while campers grades 9-12 are scheduled for a 12:30-2:30 p.m. session with the running back of the Arizona Cardinals.

Conner, 28 and a seven-year NFL veteran who previously played for McDowell, at Pitt and with the Steelers, racked up his first 1,000 yard rushing season in his NFL career last year with Arizona.
