Senior Mechanic/Workshop Manager – Cyclonic Bikes

We’re Cyclonic Bikes, a specialist bike workshop and retailer located a stones throw away from West Hampstead in North West London. Established in 2021, we’re still a young small company, but we’ve established an enviable reputation as a highly specialist bike workshop and retailer. In addition, we’ve built and are expanding a Zwift Training Studio in our basement, and in 2025 we’ll be establishing bike fit facilities and more.

We’re up the road from Regents Park, one of the most Strava’d places in the world, and a lot of our clients are those guys doing their laps. I’m Ian, the owner, and I do laps too. We don’t sell kids bikes, shopping bikes, Hybrids, scooters, e-bikes etc – we’re a road and gravel specialist. That said, we’re still a local bike shop, so we’re happy to help out with a puncture on a Pashley or a Brompton.

We’ve worked very hard to establish ourselves as a specialist road and gravel workshop, and we’re now looking for a full time Mechanic/Workshop Manager to head up our workshop. When it comes to our standards, we’re very binary: it’s either correct, or it isn’t. Leading our workshop, you’ll never be asked to cut corners, rush, skimp or lower your standards in any way. You’ll know what excellence really is, and you’ll be allowed and expected to deliver it.

Head Mechanic – 700

700 are a premium bicycle retailer building dream bikes for our customers. We are looking for a dedicated, free-thinking problem solver who is well versed in modern road and gravel bike technologies. We are not a corporate monster, but a tight knit team with and honest, no nonsense approach to the industry.

We’re looking for a mechanic with a desire to take ownership of the day-to-day running and future expansion of the workshop. A versatile, confident, skilled and affable individual with a real passion for the work. More than that – we’re looking for someone to be an integral part of the future of the business. We’d like you to get stuck in and be able to turn your hand to chat about bikes and the sport as a whole; someone with ideas about how things can be done better!

The main responsibility is primarily mechanics, from bike builds and servicing with a view to optimising workshop output and who is comfortable and competent working on premium road and gravel bikes. Detail oriented – a mechanic who treats everyone’s bikes like they belong to a pro! We are a small team and versatility is welcome and encouraged.
