Teresa Giudice‘s outfit on Sunday sparked a firestorm of reactions online.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 52, appeared on Watch What Happens Live wearing a skintight booty-baring purple Mugler jumpsuit, which many compared to a figure skating costume.
The outfit featured sheer panels along the legs and partly showed off her backside. The star completed her look with a pair of silver pumps.
Giudice — whose future on the reality series is uncertain amid rumors the show is set to be cancelled — wore her long brunette hair in a voluminous style with loose curls.
‘What in the Blades of Glory is this?’ one fan joked, in reference to the 2007 Will Ferrell comedy, where Jon Heder wears a lavender figure skating costume.

Teresa shared a number of clips modeling the outfit on her Instagram, and fans were quick to express their opinions.
‘When you’ve got WWHL @ 9 & an ice skating competition @ 10,’ one joked.
Yet another person quipped about the tight fitting outfit, writing, ‘There is a camel in Dubai that’s missing its toe.’
‘New ick unlocked. Make me unsee that outfit please,’ another comment read.
‘Can we retire the mugler bodysuit once and for all please?’ someone else asked.
Teresa was also joined by fellow guest Joel Kim Booster, who matched her in a purple tye-dye crop top and acid-wash set.
While on the show Teresa opened up about what she plans to do if the RHONJ season 14 reunion ever happens, after it was recently cancelled.
‘It’s too bad we aren’t having a reunion because I was going to bring an envelope and I was going to take something out of the envelope,’ she said, in reference to a moment from the season 13 reunion when John Fuda showed an envelope with alleged proof that Giudice’s husband, Luis Ruelas, had been investigating his family.

‘I was going to bring it tonight, but I want to make sure we have a reunion.’
Last week an insider revealed that the traditional reunion for The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s fourteenth season has been canceled amid cast drama.
The hit reality show is flipping the script for the first time in program history.
An insider told PEOPLE, ‘A reunion is meant to have resolution and it’s clear in the season final that there is no path forward in that type of setting.’
‘So the network is figuring out a different concept to wrap up the season,’ the source familiar with the situation told the outlet.
The news comes amid boiling tensions between housewives Teresa, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jenn Fessler.
The source says the ongoing drama between the cast members is what has caused the rift that lead the RHONJ to have split panels at BravoCon for the past two years.
Another insider told PEOPLE that Bravo has yet to make a decision about RHONJ moving forward.
‘Everything and anything is on the table,’ the insider admitted, noting that ‘all options are being discussed and nothing official about the show has been decided.’
Cast members have been pointing fingers at each other with Rachel’s husband John Fuda telling the outlet: ‘The damaging lies…. are not rooted in reality.’
Previews for the latest season show the Fudas’ continuing feud with Teresa and her husband Luis.
It comes amid speculation that The Real Housewives of New Jersey series could be done, after the current season 14 wraps
In another episode snippet, we see John calling Teresa ‘the poster child for mortgage fraud.’ And he said, ‘When I need my money laundered, I’ll call ya!’
The outlet reported last September that Jennifer and Danielle were ‘suspended from filming for several days’ due to an on set altercation.
During the pre-taped finale, the co-stars were seen insulting each other with a glass pitcher being thrown during their insult exchange.
Plans on casting changes for the 15th season have yet to be revealed by the media company or current housewives.
