Tennis, WTA – Roland-Garros 2024: Danilovic defeats Collins

Serb qualifier Olga Danilovic reached the third round of Roland-Garros by edging out American Danielle Collins, the No 11 seed, 6-7 (3), 7-5, 6-4 at Roland-Garros in Paris on Thursday.

Danilovic, ranked No 125, will face Croat Donna Vekic next.

The Serb won against Italian Martina Trevisan (6-1, 6-2) in the previous round.

In the first round, Collins, ranked No 10, beat Caroline Dolehide (6-3, 6-4).
