Tennis Predictions: Queen’s Club, Berlin and Halle best bets and picks for Friday, June 21st

Queen’s Club, Berlin and Halle predictions and best bets for June 21st

With the French Open in the rearview mirror, the tennis action will be all over the place until Wimbledon (which I already previewed). There are grass-court events in all different parts of the world (Queen’s Club, Berlin and Halle), and there are also some Challenger-level events being played. I’ll be taking a bit of a scattered approach over the next few weeks, taking advantage of the insane amount of tennis to find value wherever I can. Below you’ll find some tennis best bets for the Cinch Championships at the Queen’s Club in London, the ecotrans Ladies Open (German Open) in Berlin and the Terra Wortmann Open (Halle Open) in Halle for Friday, June 21st.

I’m going to quickly hit on some of my favorite picks below, but I usually have a lot more tennis predictions on the Pro Picks page. I also occasionally add some picks throughout the day, as schedules can get wonky with the international nature of the sport. I also like to see how odds are moving. That said, keep checking the page every couple of hours if you want more of my picks.

2024 Record: 408-405 (+48.00 units)

Katerina Siniakova vs. Jessica Pegula – Berlin

I have backed Siniakova in each of the last two matches, and the Czech player responded with wins over Emma Navarro and Qinwen Zheng. Siniakova has now gone through two qualifying matches and two main draw matches without dropping a set, and she is showing that her skill set is a perfect match for grass. Siniakova, who is one of the best doubles players in the world, is effective as a server and knows how to win points at the net. She also has a nice aggressive baseline approach, while also having the wheels required to play defense. Well, all of that should come in handy against Pegula, who hasn’t looked like an elite player in 2024.

Pegula is also just 14-10 on grass at the WTA level, meaning Siniakova has an edge in experience on this surface. She’s 23-21 on grass in her career and has a better understanding of how to win matches on speeding fast surfaces. And overall, I just like that she’s really feeling herself on the court right now, as that should be important against a player that is lacking in confidence. Siniakova knows exactly what she needs to do out there, while Pegula is still figuring things out this year.

Bet: Siniakova ML (+120 – 1.5 units)

Christopher Eubanks vs. Zhizhen Zhang – Halle

This is a match in which Eubanks’ ability to hold a little more frequently could make all the difference in the world. Zhang is the more complete player between these two, and he is a player that has the potential to really improve over the next couple of years. But Eubanks’ game is absolutely perfect for grass, as it’s nearly impossible to get his serve back and his flat backhand is a real weapon when it comes to ending points quickly. Zhang has some all-court power himself, and he isn’t bad as a server by any means. But Zhang occasionally plays some sloppy service games. And if he does that here, Eubanks will make him pay — whether it’s with a break or a win in a tiebreaker. Overall, that makes it hard not to like Eubanks as plus-money odds.

Bet: Eubanks ML (+120 – 1.5 units)

Added Plays

I usually have A LOT MORE on the Pro Picks page. These plays count towards my record and have been a big part of my success this season. Make sure you check them out. I’ll probably add a few more over there, so refresh that page throughout the day if you’re looking for action.
