Italy’s Jasmine Paolini and Sara
Errani on Friday qualified for the final of the women’s doubles
tournament at Roland Garros, where Paolini is already in the
singles final against world number one Iga Swiatek of Poland on
Saturday.
In the semifinals, the Italian women defeated Ukraine’s Marta
Kostyuk and Romania’s Elena-Gabriela Ruse with a score of 1-6
6-4 6-1.
They will challenge for the title the winners of the other semi
between the Americans Caroline Dolehide and Desirae Krawczyk and
the pairing of world number two Coco Gauff of America and the
Czech Katerina Siniakova.
