Tennis camp

The annual youth tennis camp made its return to Starvaggi Park in Weirton, following a one-year hiatus. The camp was held June 10-14 and included children participating from local elementary, middle and high schools. This year’s director was Shalyn Secrist, who was assisted by previous directors Sandi Gajtka and Sue Wesie. Also assisting were tennis players from Brooke, Weir and Madonna high schools, Max Oxier, Caden Runkel and Raegan, Makenna and Melesse Wiersbicki. Participants included Jayus, Niyah, and Arias Smith, Sylvia Adams, Evie Frazier, Jaxson Harvey, Jordyn Jimboy, Zana Lawton, Lucy Caprarese, Luciano Perri, Brynleigh Adler, Orion Karenbauer, Nicco Mastrantoni, Cameela Provenzano, Violet Colavecchia, Natalie Colbert, Taylor Cornell, Erin Joyce, Kelly Salatino, Samarha Schroeder and Katie Williams.
