Summit Golf Brands: Signs Aldrich Potgieter as brand ambassador

NEW YORK, NY (July 1, 2024) – Summit Golf Brands, the leading manufacturer of high-end golf apparel and sportswear, announced today the signing of up-and-coming professional golfer Aldrich Potgieter as the newest athlete ambassador for two of its standout brands, B. Draddy and Zero Restriction. The sponsorship deal will have Potgieter outfitted in premium apparel and outerwear from both B. Draddy and Zero Restriction while competing on the Korn Ferry Tour throughout the 2025 season.

Aldrich Potgieter, a native of Mossel Bay, South Africa, has quickly made a name for himself in the professional golf world, securing wins at the 2020 South Australian Junior Masters, the 2021 Western Australia Amateur, and the 2022 Nomads South African Junior International.  Potgieter capped off his sterling amateur career by winning the 2022 Amateur Championship at just 17 years old, making him the second youngest winner in the tournament’s history.

Since turning professional in 2023, Potgieter has continued to turn heads with his impressive performance on the golf course, qualifying for the 2023 Masters as well as the 2023 U.S. Open, where he led the field in driving distance (336.3 yards). Most recently, Potgieter has established himself as one of the top players on the Korn Ferry Tour. With his win at The 2024 Bahamas Great Abaco Classic earlier this year, Potgieter made history as the youngest-ever winner on the Korn Ferry Tour. Currently ranked #21 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, Potgieter is well positioned to earn his PGA Tour Card at the end of the season and continue his ascension within the professional game.
