A stylish suit worn by tech giant Steve Jobs in an iconic Apple advert is to be auctioned.

The navy blue pin-stripe features in the 1984 Macintosh computer release marketing photograph.

The Macintosh was famously first announced in a January 1984 Ridley Scott-directed commercial during the Super Bowl.

Made by Brioni for Wilkes Bashford San Francisco, the suit is estimated to fetch $20,000 – $30,000.

Also under the hammer is a taupe and white striped wool, two-piece suit, worn by Jobs in 1980 to his friend Ben Rosen’s retirement party from Morgan Stanley. It also comes with an estimate of $20,000 – $30,000.

Jobs fans can bid for a quirky maroon and white polka dot bow tie, likely worn during a keynote speech and estimated at $4,000 – $6,000.

The items will be offered at Los Angeles-based Julien’s Auctions’ ‘Spotlight: History And Technology’ sale on July 11.
