Shopping platform JD develops HarmonyOS native app core version
China’s popular e-commerce platform – JD.com announced that it has completed the HarmonyOS native app core version development. The firm shared this news during the 618 Media Open Day event and talked about the new app build.
JD.com says that the online shopping platform developed HarmonyOS native app core version and it will soon be available on the Huawei AppGallery to download.
Huawei and JD.com signed the native app cooperation agreement in January this year. The aim behind this tie-up was to bring upgraded as well as beneficial services to customers. As of now, JD has passed the first level of this new journey.
JD’s HarmonyOS NEXT app version beta is based on a next-gen device technology architecture. It allows one-time coding and support for multi-device collaboration. The app also comprises HarmonyOS AI big model and framework.
These components together help the app to understand the intentions and needs of a user. It will also contribute to timely services for users with a continuity of better product availability. This will eventually lead to an increase in real-time traffic.
Another benefit is that HarmonyOS NEXT app versions are compatible with multiple devices including phones, tablets, smart screens, and car screens. Hence, it eliminates the load and cost of developing different versions, depending on the device.
JD has said to soon launch its HarmonyOS NEXT app version on the Huawei AppGallery. Perhaps we can expect the application availability after the HDC 2024 event.
