Second man charged in 16-year-old Toronto boy’s death

A second man has been charged in the shooting death of Kayelin Rider-Downey, 16, of Toronto.

Toronto Police said that on June 15 at 1:49 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Rd. area.

It was reported that an altercation took place, ending in a shooting with one suspect fleeing the area on foot and another in a white SUV.

Rider-Downey was found a short time later, where he was pronounced dead.

On Thursday, police arrested and charged Leon Foster, 29, of Toronto, with first-degree murder. A nationwide warrant had been issued for Foster.

On Wednesday, Kevin Lindon, 45, of Toronto, was also charged with first-degree murder.
