Sania Mirza’s father breaks silence on rumours of the tennis star getting married to cricketer Mohammed Shami post her divorce with Shoaib Malik – Times of India

The speculations regarding their separation were rife for a while, but one got shocked as this news came with Shoaib announcing his wedding with Pakistani actress Sana Javed. Shoaib had tied the knot with Sania in April 2010 and they have a son together, whose name is Izhaan.

Post Shoaib announced his wedding with Sana, Sania’s family issued a statement regarding their divorce. A few days ago, Sania had shared her thoughts on marriage and Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami also did the same. This led to fans thinking that these two sports stars should come together and get married. Fans called them the ‘perfect match’. Now, an edited picture of Sania with cricketer Mohammad Shami has gone viral on the internet with rumours that they are set to tie the knot. Shami has also separated from his wife Hasin Jahan. But an AI generated image went viral which is a collage of Sania’s picture from her wedding with Shoaib and a picture of Shami with his ex-wife Hasin. But someone replaced Hasin’s picture with Sania.


The tennis star’s father Imran Mirza has now reacted to these rumours and said to NDTV, “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him.”
Meanwhile, Sania recently took to Instagram to share the new name plate of her house post her divorce with Shoaib. It read only ‘Sania and Izhaan’.
