Samsung is rumoured to host its next edition of Galaxy Unpacked event in July. According to The Chosun Daily – a South Korean publication, the event may take place on July 10 in Paris. For those unaware, the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year was hosted in South Korea.
At the July event, the company is expected to launch the next-generation of its foldable phones. This may include Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. Samsung is also rumoured to bring the much-anticipated Galaxy Ring at the event along with the next-generation Galaxy Watch Series 7. Here’s what to expect
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6 may run on Snapdragon chipset
According to a previous report by The Elec, Samsung is planning to bring its next generation of foldable phones with a Snapdragon chipset. The company may use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 proc3ssor for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
A leak by tipster Ice Universe suggested a smaller crease and a redesigned camera design for the Z Fold 6. The handset is rumored to be the first-ever foldable phone to come with a titanium frame. Moreover, the smartphone is also expected to get an Ultra version with advanced features like better camera, bigger display and more.
Samsung Galaxy Ring to come in nine different sizes
Samsung first revealed its Galaxy Ring – a smart wearable solution at Mobile World Congress 2024. The device is likely to come in 5 to 13 sizes, labeled as S to XL. Samsung’s smart ring is said to offer a battery life of 5 to 9 days on a single charge.
Samsung’s Hon Pak has previously confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will come with the ability to track health features through an integrated sensor array. It will support heart rate monitoring, respiratory rate tracking, sleep movement tracking, and sleep onset time among other features.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 7 may have three variants
Samsung is rumoured to bring three smartwatches under its Galaxy Watch 7 series. It is expected to launch the high-end Galaxy Watch Ultra and a more affordable Galaxy Watch FE along with the standard Galaxy Watch 7.
