Golfers can enjoy a cheap round on June 24 as Purcell Golf holds its Our Course, Your Cause fundraiser.
“This week we have the Kimberley Rotary Club coming in and we’ll offer tee times from 4-6 p.m. for a $30 cash donation,” said Purcell Golf’s Joanna Heath.
“We ask that you call in at (250) 427-4161 to book your tee time or you can book online at Purcell.Golf.
Kimberley Rotary Club spokesperson Doug Vanhooren said the fundraiser will help the club support other local initiatives.
“Our Course, Your Cause allows us to top up those coffers,” he added.
“We just had the opportunity to give away $6,000 in scholarships at the high school. We’re always looking for the opportunity to get the funds back into the community and this is one that works out really well for us.”
The donation gets you nine holes of golf with a cart.
