Portion of Grace Street to close for Infrastructure Renewal Program

Phase Nine of the City of Moose Jaw’s Infrastructure Renewal program continues, with a stretch of Grace Street from Hawthorne Crescent to Thatcher Street the next site slated for construction.

Beginning June 25, the road will close as construction starts up, Grace Street, east of the construction site will be limited to local traffic only.

Transit service in the area will be impacted, with two stops closing during construction:

  • Transit route #3 Athabasca West/Thatcher Drive will go to Grace Street, servicing stops at Grace Street & 13th Avenue Northwest and Grace Street and Prince Charles Place.
  • The route will continue to Gordon Road and 13th Avenue Northwest onto Princess Crescent proceeding to 13th Avenue Northwest, where it will return to the usual route.

All area businesses will remain open during construction, with access available via sidewalks and temporary walkways.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds drivers to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones.
