Police investigating after Waterloo shooting sends one to hospital
Police are investigating after an early-morning shooting in Waterloo on Sunday sent one man to hospital.
Waterloo Regional Police first reported the shooting at 2:25 a.m. in a post on social media.
There is an increased police presence in the area of 56 King St. North in Waterloo, between the Princess St. and Bridgeport Rd. intersections.
Details are limited, but police added that one man has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
