A 43-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash along the Trans-Canada Highway in central Newfoundland.
It happened just east of the junction for the Bay d’Espoir Highway some time early this morning.
Police say they were alerted by a passing motorist who came upon the mishap shortly after 5 a.m.
They say the vehicle went off the highway and rolled several times down a hill, with the lone driver pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP say one of their collision experts is investigating in tandem with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
