Nocs Monolith Aluminium speaker, a perfect blend of sustainability & good music
Nocs Design, the Sweden-based studio renowned for its intricately crafted audio accessories emphasising minimalism, has introduced its latest wireless speaker, succeeding the acclaimed hand-crafted Monolith speaker. The Nocs Monolith Aluminium speaker, a testament to their meticulous craftsmanship, is the outcome of extensive research to eliminate the usage of recycled plastics.

Speaker featuring CNC-machined aluminium
According to founder Daniel Alm, the result is a speaker made from a single block of CNC-machined aluminium, achieving a sophisticated appearance. Notably, the speaker is fully recyclable, demonstrating Nocs’ commitment to sustainability.
Daniel Alm mentioned that significant time and effort were invested in achieving perfect symmetry for driver positioning within the anodised aluminium housing. For Nocs, minimalism is more than just a buzzword. The design refrains from using logos, emphasising the sleekness of the solid aluminium form.
This speaker stands out in the product lineup, positioned between the Mini and the Monolith. Moreover, as a ‘cradle-to-cradle consumer product,’ it is fully repairable and features easily replaceable parts, underscoring its commitment to sustainability.
The grilles, positioned just above the five precisely placed drivers, deliver a rich and wide sound in any room. Daniel Alm has fine-tuned the sound signature in collaboration with musicians and DJs, ensuring the speaker satisfies even the most discerning audiophiles. This collaboration aims to create a “deep connection between the artist and the audience.”
