Newsboy’s racing tips for Newmarket on ITV plus four other Friday cards

RUNNING LION is fancied to register a first victory at the top level by landing the Group 1 Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (3.35) at Newmarket this afternoon.

The John and Thady Gosden-saddled daughter of Roaring Lion was becoming expensive to follow but bounced back to form to lift the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.

He goes into the bet365 Handicap on the back of successes at Wolverhampton and Sandown Park, and TRAVOLTA should give another good account as he seeks a hat-trick.

At York, Wokingham Handicap heroine UNEQUAL LOVE gets the Nap vote stepping into Group 3 company for the William Hill Summer Stakes (2.40), while the in-form BILLYB makes plenty of appeal in the William Hill Extra Place Races Daily Handicap (2.05).
