New Express Entry Draw For Healthcare Sent 3,750 PR Invitations

Today, 3,750 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency (PR) were issued in a new Express Entry draw specifically targeting 35 healthcare occupations.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cutoff score was 445, exactly what we expected in our Express Entry draw predication on June 27.
The back-to-back Express Entry draws this week have caused a stir in the Canadian immigration landscape, with a total of 6,470 PR invitations in 3 draws.

This is the second healthcare-focused draw of 2024, with the previous round of invitations, announced by IRCC on February 14, 2024, inviting only 3,500 profiles.

The service standard of IRCC is to process 80% of the Express Entry applications within 5 months of receiving the complete file as per most recent IRCC processing times updated on July 3.
