Guyot-Arnault is the co-founder of Destree, a buzzy fashion label that counts Beyoncé, Rihanna, Reese Witherspoon, and Gisele Bündchen among its financial backers, per Palmer. According to the label’s website, it “draws its inspirations from the world of contemporary art that its creator Géraldine is fond of”, and offers an “offbeat yet essential wardrobe” that puts “European craftsmanship and resolutely modern assemblages of colours and geometry” at its centre.

In 2017, Vogue France called the brand the “Parisian label everyone is talking about”. In fact, the brand became so successful that Guyot-Arnault landed a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe retail and e-commerce list in 2020.

She loves vintage fashion

Guyot-Arnault clearly has a passion for fashion – and has impeccable style. In an interview with Day+ in 2022, she talked about her inspirations. “I’m more of a fan of pretty basics, timeless pieces,” she said. “I prefer to bet on the accessory, which allows me more eccentricities. They allow a woman to express her personality, to assert herself, and to vary according to her mood.”

In a 2022 Style Diaries feature for Coveteur, it was revealed that she relies on structured, vintage-inspired and vintage pieces. For a Parisian store opening, she opted for head to toe Dior. “The skirt is from last season’s couture show, which I paired with one of my all-time absolute favourite items: the bar jacket. My black Gunther bag finished up the look.” She added that accessories can always help to elevate a look and give it character.

The best way to approach fashion according to Guyot-Arnault? Don’t take it too seriously and “don’t follow trends”.

She has a “quick and efficient” beauty routine

While sharing her fashion secrets for Coveteur’s Style Diaries, she also chatted about her beauty routine. “Since my days are super packed with meetings and events, my morning routine is usually very quick and efficient. I’ve been using the Caudalie line – I love it,” she said.

She also doesn’t wear much make-up. “I make sure I have an excellent skincare routine, so I never need to use foundation. Depending on how late I am and who I’m meeting with, I will from time to time throw on some lipstick or mascara. As for my hair, I have been using Klorane forever.”
