Mark Your Calendar: Surrey Fusion Festival returns in July

The Surrey Fusion Festival, which has been running since 2008, is coming back this July.

For the 2024 celebration of food, music, and culture, the festival is hosting more than 40 culture pavilions from across the globe, including countries such as India, Colombia, Germany, Argentina, and Ghana—which will offer international foods and displays of artifacts and textiles. 

The festival aims to showcase and educate people about the different cultures that make up Canada by engaging in activities such as dancing and cooking lessons.

This year’s event counts more than 30 different performances, including Indigenous musicians Pat Calihou and Billie Joe Green, and folk singer CocoLarosa.

Surrey Fusion is recognized as the largest free multicultural festival in British Columbia.
